to the same hotel which housed us last year as both the hotel and the
attendees were very pleased with the change of venues. Again the hotel
was to supply free beer.

situation as it was not of our making.

Jack Martin, as departing president, spoke of his tenure and thanked all
who co-operated with him to bring the BQPA to the restructured
organization that is now on solid footing and is on an upward plane for
both membership and recognition.
Jim Milner remarked that all assigned tee times for golfers were not
utilized and we should make sure that this does not happen again at the

use them for other golfers.
Shel read the new bylaws to the audience and they were passed
unanimously.
New Business:
Rex announced the new President who replaced his interim presidency. Tom
Noble accepted the office and was installed by acclimation.
Tom thanked Jack for his past leadership as well as Tom Neal, and
Charlie Bauder for handsetting a book of 101 lyrics that he made
available to the members.
Jim Milner asked for any links to the website that members may want to
add that are appropriate.
Jim Gallagher offered to order, and pay shipping for any BQPA logo
catalog offerings that members wanted by contacting him and he would
have them at the East Festival.
Rob Neal offered to get past quartet Champs recordings on a CD and give
them to our organization.
We all sang “Sweet Roses of Morn” to close the meeting.
Any additions or corrections are welcome.
